Data Payload Processor (DPP)

The Data Payload Processor (DPP) application processes data retrieved from the Flow Computer (Electronic Flow Measurement (EFM) data) and interfaces with the end-user gas application (for example, AVEVA Measurement Advisor) outside the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA system.

EFM data refers to:

• Gas flow history

• Gas quality history

• AGA values

• Gas composition values

The DPP Queue stores EFM data collected by Omnicomm from the field devices. The retreived EFM data is defined in the CGL Template run, and is identified by a combination of the command used to retrieve the data, template name, and the configured load type for the gas load.

DPP Queue acts as a buffer between the collecting and processing of EFM data.
