There are several options for examining aspects of PubSub system performance.
-
Subscribe to a topic and observe the published data.
-
Publish to a topic to request that the PubSub Engine write debug information to the log file.
-
Use the Windows Performance Monitor to observe the PubSub Engine and Inter-System Publish/Subscribe (ISPS) performance counters.
The following monitoring functionality is presented from the perspective of the local PubSub Engine. Unless specified otherwise, if results are logged to a file, the file will be named PSEngine.log.
