The Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) tab allows you to modify the RDBMS property values of a service type.

The RDBMS tab on the Service Type Properties dialog box is only relevant if the Uses RDBMS checkbox is selected on the General tab of the Service Type Properties dialog box. Once selected, the system will assign the service type a Default RDBMS Instance Name. The information on this tab is a duplicate of the information that was entered on the Default RDBMS Properties page of the Create Service Type Wizard. The RDBMS tab only applies to Historical, Archive, and Reporting services.
