Accessing AVEVA Enterprise SCADA Net Configuration Data Store

The AVEVA Enterprise SCADA Net Configuration Data Store is used to store system-wide information on security, host names, and other information. It resides in Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS)

To access it from your component, you add a reference to OASySDNA.Common.

To access AVEVA Enterprise SCADA Net Configuration Data Store

1. Click View > Solution Explorer.

2. Expand your project until you see the References item.

3. Right-click References, and select Add Reference.

4. Go to the .NET tab, and double-click on OASySDNA.Common.

5. Click OK.

6. Go to the <name>Processor file and add the following line at the top: using OASySDNA.Common.Config;

   Note: The following example gets the virtual host name of the RealTime service.

   OASySDNA.Common.Config.DNAService dnaService = new DNAService();dnaService.Attach("MYSYSTEM","Realtime");string szRealtimeHost = dnaService.GetVirtualHostName();
