Enable point staling based on data quality from a field device

Note: In the following procedure, an analog point is used as an example. The procedure is similar for configuring rate, status, multistate, and rtstring points. The Main tab in the analog Row Edit dialog box is opened through the analog table listing in the Advanced Database Editor (ADE). For general information on ADE, and further information on the analog table, refer to the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA Advanced Database Editor (ADE) Administrator documentation and RealTime tables, respectively.

To enable point staling based on data quality from a field device

1. Navigate to the Input tab in the analog Row Edit dialog box.

   

2. Select Use Device Based Questionable DQ.
