Form plugins

There are two types of Form plugins:

• TableEditForm

• RowEditForm

To apply the Form plugins to the ADE Row Edit form, you must modify the DBEditDisplaySchema file as per the example in Use Advanced Database Editor (ADE) plugins.

Declare Form plugins as follows:

public void Method(Form form, string arg)

The system calls the routine with a supplied string argument in the DBEdit configuration. The routine can be used to pass in whatever information is required. The routine accesses all the controls in the form through the form.Controls property. For example, the following text adds an item to the toolbar:

ToolStrip toolBar = form.Controls["baseToolStrip"] as ToolStrip;

ToolStripItem item;

// Add a new function to the toolbar

item = toolBar.Items.Add("Insert User");
