Add a dialog box or popup

If popups are required to perform actions not readily available in the Advanced Database Editor (ADE), you can build custom-managed assemblies that include custom popups to supplement ADE.

When the system calls a custom assembly, the telemetered point is passed in automatically such that the assembly can then manipulate the data. The assembly contains code to either modify the passed-in record or open an independent form.

Custom assemblies may contain multiple classes, with each class composed of multiple methods used to perform different functions. The EditForm element allows you to associate a method defined in a custom assembly with a Button or Field element.
