Set the Alert Paging dataset

Note: For information on overriding default configuration settings, refer to Modify configuration settings.

The ALERTPAGING_DATASET value must be configured. The application only creates alert paging files on the Hot RealTime server that owns the dataset.

To set the Alert Paging dataset

1. In the %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\config\Settings directory, either create or open the RealTime_AlertPaging.json file.

2. Set the value for "ALERTPAGING_DATASET" to the dataset name that is owned by the system that has access to the external paging service.

3. Save the file.

4. Restart the RealTime service.
