The fields in the General tab of the Systems Object Computer Properties dialog box are explained in the table below to help you configure your Network Management Console (NMC).

Description |

Computer Name |
Every computer object has a unique name or acronym to distinguish it from other computer objects. |

In System |
This field indicates the system in which this particular computer is located. |

Description |
A brief description of the computer. |
|
SCADA Hostname |
The computer name assigned to the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA Network Interface Card. |
|
Autostart Services |
If selected, this field indicates that the services on this computer will automatically start when the computer is turned on. Note: If the Microsoft SQL Server instance is local to the Historical server and does not complete its automatic restart ahead of the Historical service, then the Historical service will not be able to automatically restart. |

Start Spooler Service |
Select to have the Spooler service start as part of the Common service. |
