Configure msginfo sets

MsgInfo sets are created by configuring msgInfo records and grouping them by Set Name. The msgInfo table is opened through the msgInfo Set listing in the Advanced Database Editor (ADE).
By default, AVEVA Enterprise SCADA is configured with a base msgInfo set during deployment. You can use this base msgInfo set to configure alarm severity for alarms not associated with a specific point. You can also use the base msgInfo set for specific point classes. The base msgInfo set also acts as a default setting for any alarm conditions not included in other msgInfo sets and for any points not configured to use a msgInfo set.
Notes: You cannot remove any records from the base msgInfo set.
Alarms that are associated with the state of the point (for example, HIGH-HIGH for
analog/rate or CLOSED for status/multistate) should have their severity configured
at the message set level.
For general information on ADE, and further information on the msgInfo table, refer to the Advanced Database Editor (ADE) Administrator documentation and RealTime tables, respectively.
