Execution of Application Calculation Engine (ACE) routines

Execution of Application Calculation Engine (ACE) routines

The Application Calculation Engine (ACE) Configuration (aceconfig) records with a dataset only execute on the Hot server owning that data. Aceconfig records without a dataset will execute, if triggered, on all Hot servers they are replicated to.

Aceconfig records never begin execution on a non-Hot server, but they may complete execution on a non-Hot server if it began while the server was Hot.

The table below demonstrates the following circumstances for the aceconfig records to run:

Circumstance

Action

Triggered on changes to Inputs and input configuration changes.

Execute

Triggered on changes to inputs and input values change.

Execute

Triggered on startup and server goes Hot.

Execute

Triggered on alarm and one or more inputs goes into alarm.

Execute

Triggered on alarm and one or more inputs goes out-of-alarm.

Execute

Manually commanded to run regardless of trigger settings.

Execute

Not enabled.

Do Not Execute

Trigger every X seconds and interval has passed.
