Configure the maximum allowable park time for a point

While you can park any analog, status, rate, or multistate point, you must configure a point's maximum allowable park time on a point-by-point basis.

Note: In the following procedure, an analog point is used as an example. The procedure is the same for status, rate, and multistate points. The Alarming tab in the analog Row Edit dialog box is opened through the analog table listing in the Advanced Database Editor (ADE). For general information on ADE, and further information on the analog table, refer to the Advanced Database Editor (ADE) Administrator documentation and RealTime tables, respectively.

To configure the maximum allowable park time for a point

  1. Navigate to the Alarming tab in the analog Row Edit dialog box.

  2. In the Maximum period of time (min) field, enter the maximum allowable park time for alarms associated with this point.
