Add an email alarm notification recipient: alertUser Row Edit

Name

This field displays the name of the alertUser record.

Email

Enter the email address associated with this record.

Message Type

Select the type of email message to send to the recipient.

Options:

• EMAIL – standard message type (refer to Email template file).

• SHORT – the email message takes the following format: ShortHostName~ShortDateAndTime~PointName~Alarm Message

• MEDIUM – the email message takes the following format: ShortHostName~ShortDateAndTime~DatabaseName~PointName~AlarmMessage

• LONG – the email message takes the following format: FullHostName~FullDateAndTime~DatabaseName~Point Name~PointDescription~RTUName~AlarmMessage

Enable

To allow the application to contact the person about alarms using the email address indicated in Email, select yes.

If set to no, email alarm notifications sent to this distribution list will not be sent to you. This can be useful to temporarily suspend email (as, for example, when you are on vacation).
