Send an Alarm Notification email

Follow the procedures below to open the Email Adhoc Alarm dialog box and send alarm notification emails to either an individual or a group of individuals.

Before you begin

On the applicable Alarm Summary window, begin by opening the Alarm Control dialog box for the alarm of interest.

To access the Email Alarm function in the Alarm Control dialog box

• In one of the following alarm summary windows, left-click anywhere in the row of the alarm of interest:

  Note: Do not select the row header of the alarm.

  • Alert Summary Window

  • Split Alarm Summary Window

  • Alarm Summary Window

  • New Alarm Summary Window

    Note: For information on the above alarm summary windows, and how to access them, refer to Alerts.

    The Alarm Control dialog box appears.
