Re-Alarming

The Re-Alarming application re-annunciates critical and high priority alarms after a configurable amount of time if the condition that caused the alarm still exists.
You can configure analog, status, rate, multistate, and remote point alarms to re-alarm from one to 255 minutes after you acknowledge an alarm.
If the alarm point returns to normal before the re-alarm time period expires, the system removes the alarm from the Alarm Summary window and terminates the re-alarm process. If the point fails to return to normal before the re-alarm time period expires, AVEVA Enterprise SCADA re-annunciates an alarm against the point and processes it as a new event. In the Alarm Summary window, a regenerated alarm appears with the text "-reAlarm OriginalTimestamp (UTC - UTC-07:00 TimeOffset".
Re-Alarming Example

Notes: The functionality applies only to critical and high priority alarms. Low and medium
priority alarms are not affected.
A stale point does not re-alarm. However, if the system generates an instrument failure
alarm for a stale point, that type of alarm will re-alarm.
