Rule violation

You will be notified if the Rules Validation Engine (RVE) prevents a command from being issued with a message in the RVE Control dialog box.

This message tells you the table, point, and command issued, in addition to providing violation messages. You can choose to ignore the rule and issue the command by selecting Override. The example below shows RVE intercepting a setpoint that was issued from the analog control panel in easy eXtended Operator Station (ezXOS).
