To prepare for building software development kit (SDK) examples

  1. Set up the Test and Development System.

    For more information around installation, please contact AVEVA Customer Support.

  2. On the Test and Development System's RealTime server, log on as dnaInstaller.

  3. Install the RealTime.Service.msi file, if not already installed.

  4. On the Test and Development System's RealTime server, log on as a member of DNA Developers.

  5. On the desktop, double-click the Windows PowerShell for DNA shortcut.

    Windows PowerShell for DNA opens.

  6. Create a RealTime Developer Environment (see the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA Shared Components Developer documentation).

  7. Proceed to the next section.
