Create records to group conversion items

Follow this procedure to use aga_convert_item_grp records to group together the aga_convert_item records that indicate how to translate AVEVA Measurement Advisor values into values in a format the device can interpret.

Aga_convert_item_grp records are stored in the aga_convert_item_grp table, and are created and edited using the aga_convert_item_grp Row Edit dialog box within the Advanced Database Editor (ADE). For general information on ADE and how to create records, refer to the Advanced Database Editor (ADE) Administrator documentation.

To create records to group RTU events and alarms

  1. In ADE, select View > Gas Operations.

  2. Navigate to the aga_convert_item_grp Row Edit dialog box.

  3. In the Name field, enter the name of an aga_convert_item_grp record with which to group together aga_convert_item records.

  4. Save the record.
