The RealTime Properties tab of the Area of Responsibility (AOR) Area properties dialog box is described to help you understand the function of adding additional properties.
Applications and services can add additional properties tabs. The Layered Product detailed in this section is the RealTime service attributes associated with the AOR Area.

Enable alarm coverage checking |
Select this checkbox to cause alarms originating from this area that are not selected for control by a computer to be sent to all active easy eXtended Operator Station (ezXOS) stations configured to receive non-covered alarms. This will ensure all telemetry device alarms are sent to at least one computer. This box is normally selected unless the area controls insignificant devices, or duplicates the coverage of other areas for which this feature is enabled. |

Alarm coverage check period in seconds |
Enter a check period time in seconds. This is the number of seconds between checking that at least one ezXOS computer is controlling the AOR Area. The default value is set to 25 seconds. |
