A note about the security for Business Logic Tier (BLT) components.

BLT components use role-based security to provide component-level access control. You or your group can configure each component to be accessible. This configuration is done at run-time.

As well, BLT components can determine the original calling client’s security information (such as the user ID).

Determining the Calling User

To determine who the originator of a BLT component call is, you can use the built-in OriginalClientDomainName and OriginalClientUserName properties of the BLTProcessor class:
