Typical configuration procedure

The process of adding a new remote, or changing the location of an existing remote, is a six-step process.

The following steps should be followed to add or change the location of a remote:

1. Create an Omnicomm process (if necessary).

2. Configure the connection.

3. Configure the remote.

4. Configure the protocol.

5. Reading and Writing Data (as needed).

6. Configure special functions.
