Configure Flatline Watchdog alarm severity

Follow this procedure to configure the alarm severity for Flatline Watchdog, using message associated with the watchdog record.

The message table is opened through the Message Set listing in the Advanced Database Editor (ADE). For general information on ADE, and further information on the message table, refer to the Advanced Database Editor (ADE) Administrator documentation and RealTime tables, respectively.

To configure the Flatline Watchdog alarm severity

  1. In ADE, open the message set used by the watchdog record. The default message Set Name used for Flatline Watchdog is named watchdog.

  2. Double-click the row header of the record you want to access.

    The message Row Edit dialog box appears.

  3. In the State Severity field, select the state severity option you want associated with this watchdog record message.
