collectAuditTrail table

The collectAuditTrail table in the Historical TimeSeries database has been modified in response to the Field Device Trend History application's advanced audit capability.

The collectAuditTrail table now has the following, combined clustered index:

  • tagId

  • lastModTime

  • time

All rows in the table must have a unique combination of these three values.

The system adds an audit trail record to the collectAuditTrail table when:

  • A Controller modifies a value in the Historical database via the easy eXtended Operator Station (ezXOS) Historical Edit dialog box, or

  • A Controller-modified value is later re-polled
