Tag Expiry

The Tag Expiry application allows you to create tags with an expiry time/date and end time/date, make tags permanent, and assign priorities to tags.

When a tag within your Area Of Responsibility (AOR) reaches its configured expiry time, AVEVA Enterprise SCADA generates an alarm to notify you. You can then extend, make permanent, or delete the expired tag. Expired tags remain active until you take the appropriate action.

For information on the FlexTag Summary window and Flextag Control dialog box, refer to the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA HMI Controller documentation. The present section describes modifications to the default displays, as well as new tag functionality.

Note: This application is not available if Flexible Tagging is enabled.
