Application Calculation Engine (ACE) Configuration (aceconfig) Row Edit: Trigger Configuration tab
Item |
Description |
|---|---|
Run Now |
Select this to run the ACE procedure. When you select Run Now and you have control of the point, the button deactivates and the text changes to Running. When the calculation is complete, the button reactivates and the text returns to Run Now. If you do not have control of the point, an error message appears. Select OK to return to the ACE Control dialog box. This button will cause the record to execute regardless of the trigger settings. It will not cause execution if the record is disabled. |
Trigger Interval |
Enter the number of seconds desired between the ACE code (acecode) executions. The trigger interval is automatically synchronized with the top of the hour/day. If the trigger is to occur every 3600 seconds, then the acecode executes at the start of each hour (hh:00:00). If the trigger is to occur every 30 seconds, then the acecode executes at hh:mm:00 and hh:mm:30. If an interval other than seconds is required, the interval cannot be more frequent than the execution cycle, which is five seconds by default. |
Changes to Inputs |
Select this checkbox to trigger the record when changes to the inputs, configuration, or code occur. Remember that all inputs must be associated with a numeric value to be used in and trigger an ACE routine. |
Alarm Triggered |
Select this checkbox to trigger the record when records configured as inputs change their alarm state. The input must be a Path if you want an ACE routine to be triggered by a change in alarm state for the point. |
Startup Triggered |
Select the checkbox to trigger the acecode when the system goes Hot. |
Code Change Triggered |
Select the checkbox to trigger the acecode when there is a change to the acecode. |
