When the RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) Player application is started, it will allow clients (for example, OASyS DNA RealTime server) to connect to the ports as defined by the data configuration file. You may need to stop this connection while the RTU Player application is running.

To stop the RTU Player

  • Do one of the following to stop the RTU Player:

    • Press Ctrl+C while the RTU Player application is in focus (active).

    • Close the command window.

    • In the Windows Task Manager, select the RTU Player application, and select End Task.

Note: Either one of these methods will cause all connections to be terminated and the RTU Player application to stop listening on its ports.
