Optional pre- and post-extension

You can configure optional pre- and post-extensions to add project-specific code to the MANUAL and REALTIME function put (fnput) commands. These extensions apply to the analog, status, rate, multistate, and rtstring tables within the RealTime database (RTDB).

Fully documented examples on how to use these pre- and post-injection points are available in the software development kit (SDK) Examples PrePostOverrideExamples.sln file.

Notes: Altering the content of the fnput commands may cause instability on the system if not implemented correctly. Given the caution required, only developers with a good understanding of AVEVA Enterprise SCADA should implement the extensions.
