You can use the DNAChangeset command line tool to create standalone changesets to make temporary changes to the RealTime database (RTDB) or easy eXtended Operator Station (ezXOS) displays.
To create a standalone changeset
-
On the desktop, double-click the Windows PowerShell for DNA shortcut.
Windows PowerShell for DNA opens.
-
Execute the following commands:
set-silo RealTime
dnachangeset create --type <display | realtime> [--title "<optional title>"] [--description "<optional description>"]
For the definition of each parameter, refer to Create a changeset.
-
To add metadata for the configured standalone changeset value (that is, QC_Only), which will prevent it from being closed, execute the following command:
dnachangeset metadata --type <display | realtime> --changeset <changeset id previously created> --add true --name QC_Only
For the definition of each parameter, refer to Add metadata to a changeset.
Note: The --add parameter value must be true to enable the changeset as a standalone changeset.
