Configure the alarm severity

Follow this procedure to configure the severity of the Alarm Bracketing message records associated with almbracket records.

The message table is opened through the Message Set listing in the Advanced Database Editor (ADE). For general information on ADE, and further information on the message table, refer to the Advanced Database Editor (ADE) Administrator documentation and RealTime tables, respectively.

To configure the alarm severity

  1. In ADE, open the "almbracket" message set collection in the message table.

  2. Double-click the row header of the record you want to access.

    The message Row Details dialog box opens.

  3. In the State Severity field, select the state severity option you want associated with this message.
