Modify an existing display layout

Follow this procedure to modify the displays and/or the display setup associated with one of your existing display layouts.

Note: In order to save/update a layout, there needs to be at least one display open (in addition to Display Room Layouts).

To modify an existing display layout

  1. Open the Display Room Layouts dialog box.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • In the Layout Name field, enter the name of the display layout you want to modify, and select Restore.

    • In the Display Layouts section, select the row header for the display layout you want to modify.

    • In the Display Layouts section, first select anywhere in the row of the display layout you want to modify, and then select Restore.

  3. Modify the display layout as desired.

  4. In the Display Layouts section, select anywhere in the row of the modified display layout.

    Note: Do not select the row header of the modified display layout record.

    The name of the display layout appears in the Layout Name field.

  5. Select Update.
