A remote on the failed line replies

If a remote on the failed line replies after the system considers the line to be in a failure state, the line state returns to normal. Since it's not conclusive that the remote that replied is among those that failed, the Failed Remotes count on the Connection Summary window does not change.
As each remote on the now normal line is successfully polled, the Failed Remotes count decrements by one until reaching zero. In addition, the system:
-
Does not generate a Return-to-Normal alarm.
-
Generates an event indicating that communication has been restored.
