The ValidationRegexTableEdit plugin is the same as the ValidationRegexField plugin, except that the former is defined for tables, not fields. The constraints are set at the top rather than at the field level.
The parameters are as follows:
-
Name="ValidationRegExTableEdit".
-
Args, which takes the following format:
field1(Regex name),field2 (Regex name), . . .
Note: There are no spaces after the comma.
For example, the level limits must be a number. One way to add a constraint is to configure at the Field level for each affected field in level limit. In the code below, ValidationRegexField FieldPlugIn is used, and in the arguments to the plugin, specified as a float number.
<Field
Name="hilow_@hihilim"
.
.
DisplayWidthToUse="Minimum">
<FieldPlugIn Name="ValidationRegexField" Args = "GeneralFloatNumber" />
</Field>
<Field
Name="hilow_@hilim"
.
.
DisplayWidthToUse="Minimum">
<FieldPlugIn Name="ValidationRegexField" Args = "GeneralFloatNumber" />
</Field>
<Field
Name="hilow_@lolim"
.
.
DisplayWidthToUse="Minimum">
<FieldPlugIn Name="ValidationRegexField" Args = "GeneralFloatNumber" />
</Field>
<Field
Name="hilow_@lololim"
.
.
DisplayWidthToUse="Minimum">
<FieldPlugIn Name="ValidationRegexField" Args = "GeneralFloatNumber" />
</Field>
Alternatively, at the DataSetTable level at the beginning of the XML file, use the ValidationRegexTableEdit plugin and, in the plugin argument, specify the affected level limit fields constraint as GeneralFloatNumber. Multiple fields and different types are allowed.
<DataSetTable
Name="farms">
<TableEditFormPlugIn
Name="ValidationRegexTableEdit"
Args="hilow_@hihilim(GeneralFloatNumber),hilow_@hilim(GeneralFloatNumber),hilow_@lolim(GeneralFloatNumber),hilow_@lololim(GeneralFloatNumber)"
/>
