OASyS Edition Active Directory (AD) structure

Due to the storage of users and groups within Microsoft Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM), AVEVA Enterprise SCADA is not tied to a specific organizational structure within Active Directory (AD).

Users, Groups, and computers may be stored in any Organizational Unit to suit the customer’s business requirements and existing AD structure, if present.

Installations into new domains follow a basic structure, as shown in this section, which provides for the inheritance of the automatically configured Group Policy Objects (GPO). Under a manual installation into an existing domain, specific GPO may be imported independently and associated with customer-selected Organizational Units.
