The set trace stored procedure is used to enable special debug tracing to the oasErrlog file. It is a different type of tracing than the debugging enabled by the ToggleDebug tool.
The trace commands are toggles. They should be called once to turn on the debug tracing, and a second time to turn the tracing off.
ODBC Syntax
call set_trace(<command>)
where <command> is one of the following (which are not case-sensitive):
SQL โ Logs the text of the Microsoft SQL commands which are executed and the amount of time it takes to execute. Inner and outer joins of a Microsoft SQL command will log two (or more) messages to the log.
CONNECTIONS โ Logs a message when a user connects or disconnects from the Microsoft SQL Engine.
Example
call set_trace('SQL');
call set_trace('CONNECTIONS');
