Multi-drop and point-to-point configuration

Multi-drop and point-to-point configuration can be used with any of the communications media that are described in this section; however, the examples shown for leased-line and dial connection are typical. Leased-line connections are generally multi-drop, and VSAT and temporary dial connections are point-to-point.
