If you want to edit configuration fields in tables, you must change your Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) and supply/specify a changeset you want your changes to be associated with (for that session), for example, you may wish to change the description of a point.
To temporarily extend the ODBC connection string to pass a specific changeset
From ISQL, execute the customconnect statement, and append changeset=<changesetId> to the Data Source Name (DSN), for example:
ISQL> customconnect "DSN=esRTDB;changeset=2
Note: This change is only in effect for the duration of the ISQL connection and does not affect any other users of the DSN. You can change the ODBC connections changeset by reconnecting with a different changeset specified.
