Park an alarm

Use the Alarm Parking Control dialog box to park an alarm for a number of minutes or hours.

Before you begin

Complete the steps in Open the Alarm Parking Control dialog box.

To park an alarm

1. On the Alarm Parking Control dialog box, do one of the following:

   • In the Parking Time (min) field, enter the amount of time to park the alarm.

     OR

   • Select 15 min, 30 min, 1 hour, or 3 hours.

   Note: The amount of time must be less than the indicated Maximum Value.

2. In the Reason field, enter a reason for parking the alarm.

3. Select Submit.
