Use Advanced Database Editor (ADE) plugins

Since all plugins are loaded when the Advanced Database Editor (ADE) starts, no additional configuration is required. However, you must configure plugins that apply to Table Edit forms, Row Edit forms, or fields within Row Edit forms in the %DNADataRoot%\ADE\config\ADE\DBEdit\Schema\Custom directory. Such configuration is achieved through the method currently in use by project teams. The following is an example DBEdit alter file that shows how to specify a plugin for the area Table Edit form, Row Edit form, and two fields within the Row Edit form.
<DataSetTable Name="area" HelpLink="TestHelpLink">
<TableEditFormPlugIn Name="SampleTableEditFormPlugIn" Args="Sample table edit form worked." />
<RowEditFormPlugIn Name="SampleRowEditFormPlugIn" Args="Row Edit PlugIn Worked" />
<Group Name="Groups">
<SubGroup Name="group">
<Field Name="slot" IsVisible="true" IsRequired="true" IsReadOnly="false">
<FieldPlugIn Name="SampleFieldPlugIn" Args="SampleFieldPlugIn" />
</Field>
<Field Name="control">
<FieldPlugIn Name="SampleFieldPlugIn" Args="SampleFieldPlugIn" />
</Field>
</SubGroup>
</Group>
</DataSetTable>
</DataSetTables>
