The Advanced Database Editor (ADE) Tree Layout schema is defined in XML files that describe how the tables within the Realtime database (RTDB) appear in ADE.
The xsi:schemaLocation property defines which XSD file to use for an XML file:
-
The DNATreeLayoutSchema.xml must define the DNATreeLayoutSchema.xsd file as a reference.
xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.telvent.com/DNATreeLayoutSchema
..\..\..\DNATreeLayoutSchema.xsd"
-
The DNATreeLayoutSchema.Alter.xml must define the DNATreeLayoutSchemaAlter.xsd file as a reference.
xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.telvent.com/DNATreeLayoutSchema
..\..\..\DNATreeLayoutSchemaAlter.xsd"
Follow the procedure below if the customer wants the tables under each view type ordered in a specific way.
To create a custom structure for a project
-
Navigate to the following directory:
%DNADataRoot%\ADE\config\ADE\TreeLayout\
-
Create a folder called <folder name>.
-
Within the <folder name> folder, create the following folders:
baseline
custom
-
In either the baseline or custom folder, create a folder called <component>.
-
In the baseline\<component> folder, create the following file:
-
DNATreeLayoutSchema.xml
-
-
In the custom\<component> folder, create the following file:
-
DNATreeLayoutSchema.Alter.xml
-
-
To compile the tree view using the DNATreeLayoutSchemaMerge process,
-
For the -f option, use the created <folder name>.
For example:
DNATreeLayoutSchemaMerge -p ADE -f abc -d Verbose -t
