Merge all DNATreeLayout XML files

To merge all baseline and custom config\ADE\TreeLayout XML files into the %DNADataRoot%\ADE\config\ADE\TreeLayout\adeTreeLayoutSchema.xml file

1. On the desktop, double-click the Windows PowerShell for DNA shortcut.

   Windows PowerShell for DNA opens.

2. Execute the following commands to list the help:

   set-silo ADE

   DNATreeLayoutSchemaMerge -h

   Where:

   • -h is used to show the usage message.

3. Execute the following commands to merge all XML files:

   DNATreeLayoutSchemaMerge -p -f <folder name> -d <debug level> -t

   Where:

   • Optional: -p indicates the product name to use. The default is set to the [%DNAInstallRoot% | %DNADataRoot%]\ADE\config\ADE] directories.

   • Optional: -f <folder name> is used to merge files in the specified subfolder. The default value is configured in the DEFAULT_SCHEMA_FOLDER configuration setting for ADE.

   • Optional: -d <DebugLevel> is used to start the application at one of the following debug levels:

     • Error

     • Info

     • Verbose

     • Warning

   • Optional: -t is used to create a template ResX file from the merged DNATreeLayout.xml file. The ResX file will be placed in the [%DNADataRoot%]\ADE\config\\TreeLayout\ADETreeLayoutSchema] folder.

4. Follow the instructions as outlined in the help file and execute the DNATreeLayoutSchemaMerge command to generate the adeTreeLayoutSchema.xml file.
