Apply alarm suppression to a group of points

Follow this procedure to turn on the inhibit alarm flag of all points in a selected group.

Before you begin

Complete the steps in Open the Group Alarm Summary window.

To apply alarm suppression to a group of points

1. On the Group Alarm Summary window, select the row header of the group record to which you want to apply alarm suppression.

   The Group Control dialog box appears.

   

2. On the Group Control dialog box, select Apply Suppression.

   AVEVA Enterprise SCADA Administrators are in charge of configuring the Suppression Duration field. You can only apply alarm suppression to groups whose Suppression Duration field is greater than zero. If a group's Suppression Duration field is zero, the application disables Apply Suppression on the Group Control dialog box.
