ADDSTEEL Command

The ADDSTEEL command has the format:

ADDsteel spec_name

n

x y (times number of points)

PARAM/ETERS END

Where:

  • spec_name is the database name of the corresponding SPCO/CATR catalogue element

  • n is the number of points defining the 2D profile

  • x y are the co-ordinates of the points defining the 2D profile

Some additional options are permitted in the command, for compatibility with previous versions of ImPLANT-I.exe, but these are now ignored.

For example, consider the following I shape:

The following sequence of commands is an example describing the I-shape. For this, the program computes the origin to be the average of all the points.
