The different ply have to be given in order toward the plate, as they are to describe doublings with tapering.

BEAD Statement

<type_no>

An integer number in the interval 401-499 that identifies a specific bead. This number will be used to select the bead.

NAME

A name to identify the bead. This name will be used to select the bead.

TYPE

Where the bead is to be used.

TRIANGLE – triangular bead at the side of the part.

FILLET – connecting stiffener on a plate,

FREE – applying the bead at free edge of plate like limit/notch/hole

BUTT – connecting 2 plates along a seam.

HEIGHT

The height of the bead. If not given, the height is for BUTT, the thickness of the plate. Irrelevant for TRIANGLE.

TAP_HEIGHT

The additional height. Irrelevant for TRIANGLE.

WIDTH

The width of the bead. If not given, the width is for FREE, the thickness of the plate and for FILLET, the thickness of the stiffener.

TAP_WIDTH

The additional width. Irrelevant for TRIANGLE.

TOT_AREA

The total area of the bead. Used to be able to calculate WCOG together with the given quality for the bead.
