Reports and Output

The output from Hydro appears in tabular and graphical format.

For the Powering Calculations, the tabular output includes a summary of the relevant input parameters and a tabular record of the predicted resistance components, the propulsion factors and the effective and delivered (or shaft) powers. The graphical output includes effective and shaft powers and propeller KT, KQ and open water efficiency curves.

For Manoeuvring Calculations, the tabular output gives a summary of the manoeuvring calculation performed, and for Turning Manoeuvres, Zig-Zag manoeuvres and reverse spiral calculations, graphical output is also supplied.

Within the Seakeeping calculations, tabular output of the sectional hydrodynamic coefficients as well as short and long term results may be viewed, together with standard cartesian graphs of the vessels motions, and polar plots of the irregular motion results.

Finally, for the Dynamic Positioning calculations, a summary of the input data is provided together with, for each wind direction, tabular results of the environmental forces and thruster forces/directions. Summary tables are produced for each of the three calculations THRUST, ENVIRO and ERN. In addition, a Dynamic Positioning footprint may be generated as a summary of the ENVIRO calculation.
