There can be any number of rails within the template assembly and all of them will be copied to design instance. Each rail is defined by a start and end position reference to POINTR within RPATH and its elevation (ZOFF) measured from associated segment of RPATH.

The RAIL element has no members, its physical shape is defined by specification reference (SPREF) to catalogue profile. The offset of RAIL is handled by the same way as HRPOST.

The attributes of RAIL that are set by the application:

  • STAREF

  • ENDREF

  • XOFF (conditionally shifted only)

All other attributes keep their initial value.
