How Integrator Links Schematic and 3D Objects

In the Main Table or Diagram Viewer select the objects you want to link or unlink, then select Context Menu > Link or Unlink. You can also select Link or Unlink in the Integrator Main Bar Menu. These options are described in the Main Table Context Menu in Integrator Controls.

You can also initiate Link or Unlink from the Command Line. This process is described in How to use Integrator from the Command Line.

From a schematic object, when the Link option is selected, the Integrator will search for 3D objects that match according to the currently defined configuration rules. For example, from a schematic equipment, the Integrator will look for a corresponding 3D equipment object with a name or other attributes that comply with the rules. If a matching object that is not already linked is found, it will be offered as the first in a list of candidates for linking, followed by unlinked non-matching objects.

When linking pipes to a schematic pipeline, you can select more than one pipe to be linked at the same time.

When the Unlink option is selected, you may be prompted to select exactly which links will be removed. For example, if schematic, design and engineering objects are all linked together, you can select whether to unlink just the schematic or just the design object, leaving the remaining link in place.
