Before importing raw profiles from AVEVA ERM, you must make sure that the Marine Profile Type and ERM Dimension codes are mapped correctly. Also, the Quality standards must be synchronised.

To synchronise Dimension Code and Quality Standards:

  1. Define Material Type in the Plate/Profile Mapping tab of Material Category Mapping screen.

  2. Verify that the default mappings available in the Raw Profile Type Mapping tab of the Material Category Mapping window are correct. You can add or edit the default mappings. For information on how to add or edit the mappings, see .

  3. Define Quality Standards in AVEVA Marine in the Properties database.

After AVEVA ERM publishes the raw plates, an ‘Update’ notification is sent to the Notification Service. This notification is fetched by AVEVA Marine and is displayed in the Notifications screen.

AVEVA Marine fetches the data from AVEVA Integration Service and displays the components which have been published on the AVEVA ERM side.

To import the data to AVEVA Marine:

  • On the Notifications screen, select the components that need to be imported and then click Update Database. The raw profiles are imported from AVEVA ERM to AVEVA Marine.

Note: While importing raw profiles into AVEVA Marine, ensure that the Quality Code and Density of the raw plates are same. Else, the import is rejected.
