How to Find Drawings

In order to access Assembly drawings from within the databases available to you, you will first need to find them by filtering a search by scope and by a filter rule described in the following steps;

Scan the complete MDB or below a suitable Draft model element. By default the scope of search if the complete MDB indicated by the *. To change this, access a relevant Drafting element in the Explorer and click on the
button (I). The Drafting element to search under text box (A) will display the name of the current element.

Choose one of the filtering types from the drop-down list (B):

All Drawings - search for all Assembly drawings.

Those drawn by me - search for all Assembly drawings that have been generated by the current user.

Those drawn by me today - search for all Assembly drawings that have been generated by the current user during today's sessions.

Bad Drawing Reference - search for all Assembly drawings that have a link to an unknown Assembly.

Initiate the search by clicking on the
button (J). Once the results are available, the grid will be populated with the details
of any found drawings and will contain the following information:

The Drawing number
-
The associated Assembly name
-
The Author of the drawing
-
The date the drawing was created
-
The Drawing Template from which the drawing was created
-
The paper size of the drawing
-
Whether the current user has access to modify the drawing
