Modify Material

All the tasks that you would normally carry out that are associated with modifications of a material main element.
Depending on selections made in the Modify Material window, you will be presented with additional windows prompting for your input.

Attributes entered in the Create Material window are automatically displayed in the Modify Material window. To modify any of the attributes or dimensions, modify the attributes or dimension then select Apply Changes to commit the changes or click Discard Changes to discard any inputs.

(Optional) Autoname Elements is used to apply the autonaming rules to the material elements that are owned by the material main element (CTMRL), the software automatically creates a new name for the elements.

Select List of Associated Cables to display the List of Cables window.
From the Preliminary Dressing part of the Modify Material window, allows you to:
Dimensions defined
by user
Displays the Preliminary Dressing (User defined Dimensions) window, allows you to add Preliminary Dressing as defined. See Preliminary Dressing with Dimensions Defined by the User.
Dimensions based
on branch fill levels
Displays the Preliminary Dressing (Considering Branch fill Levels) window, allows you to add Preliminary Dressing taking into account the branch fill level. See Preliminary Dressing Considering Branch Fill Levels.
From the Other Dressing options part of the Modify Material window, allows you to:
Dressing using templates
Displays the Dress using Templates window, allows you to dress the cableway branch using a template. See Dress using Templates.
Explicit Dressing
Displays the Create Straight window, allows you to dress individual elements. See Cable Tray Material.
From the Remove Dressing part of the Modify Material window, allows you to:
From Branch
Removes the cable tray material from the whole cableway branch.
From Segment
Removes the cable tray material from the selected segment.
From Point
Removes the cable tray material from a selected point on the branch.
All Straights from Branch
Removes all the straight elements from the whole branch.
All Straights from
Segment
Removes all the straight elements from the selected segment.
