Selection Form

Once the select button is chosen, a new form is displayed containing different select alternatives, a filter button and a list button. The list button can be used to list all objects selected so far.

Selections can be made on the level of blocks, panels, individual parts (plates and profiles), assemblies, nested plates, nested profiles, frameworks and Manufacturing packages. Two alternatives are available:

• The selection can be made by names via separate dialogs with options to search by wild cards (that means, by replacing parts of names by the characters * and %).

  Frameworks can be selected from a data base list, within the volume of another object or by graphical picking.

  Manufacturing packages can be used to select profiles, plates, nested profiles or nested plates within packages.

  All objects in the current window can be selected by pressing the All button.

  Pressing any of the fields 1-5 and 7-8 in the form below will lead to a prompt for input of names.

• The selection can be made graphically by picking in the current drawing.

• An important principle is that the total selection is built up by combining a number of selections (in some cases applied with filters).

• Pressing Reset means that all the current selections will be removed.
